Michael and Barbara Henningsen of Gardnerville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Sara Henningsen to Jonathan McRae, son of Cameron and Susan McRae of Pahrump. The wedding date has been set for Sept. 30 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Reno.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Douglas High School, Minden and a 2006 graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno. She was recently hired by Washoe County School District and is teaching third grade at Silver Lakes Elementary School.
The future groom is a 1997 graduate of Pahrump Valley High School in Pahrump and a 2002 graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is employed as a civil engineer for Wood Rodgers Incorporate in Reno. The couple resides in Reno.
