Pesis strong in rowing

TACOMA, Wash. -- Carson City's Rachel Pesis helped the Pacific Lutheran crew teams to third and fourth place finishes at the Head of the Silcox Regatta, held Saturday

on American Lake.

Pesis, a senior, helped the Lutes women's varsity eight squad to a third place finish in 19 minutes, 7.5 seconds. She also helped the women's varsity four A squad to a fourth place finish in 22:59.8.
