Douglas graduates help University of Nevada women's swim team

Douglas High graduates Brandy Reichardt and Charlene Rigdon helped lead the University of Nevada women's swim team over a split squad from No. 7 California.

Nevada edged a group of Cal swimmers 152-148 on Friday. A group of Cal swimmers is also competing in a meet in Houston this weekend.

Rigdon and Reichardt swam on Nevada's swimming 200-yard freestyle relay team, which finished in one minute, 36.11 seconds. Rigdon and Reichardt also swam on Nevada's 200 medley relay which placed third in 1:51.41.

Rigdon placed third in the 100 backstroke (59.13) and fourth in the 200 back (2:13.28) and Reichardt placed fifth in the 50 free (25.49) and the 100 free (56.55).
