The local chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF), in cooperation with the Nevada Division of Wildlife, will be harvesting bitterbrush seed on Saturday and Sunday in Jack's Valley.
The MDF is requesting volunteers to help with that seed harvest.
Anyone interested in participating is requested to meet at the Jack's Valley Elementary School at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
There will be a free barbecue on Saturday evening for all of the workers.
