Obituary: Ivy G. Stock

Services will be at a later date for Ivy G. Stock, 84, a Gardnerville resident for the past 16 years. She died Dec. 7 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.

Mrs. Stock was born July 19, 1916 in Sparks to Harry and Edith Donahue Dixon. She was a licensed practical nurse and loved her family and art. She was a member of the Nevada Artist Association.

Mrs. Stock was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles. A lifelong Nevadan, she was a Presbyterian.

She is survived by her son, Robert Stock of Lemmon Valley; two daughters, Dorothy Page of Gardnerville and Marguerite Cook of Reno; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
