Genoa, Nev. — Minden Town Board members are scheduled to discuss the annexation of the new Justice Center site into the town boundaries today. The site isn’t actually contiguous to the current boundaries, near as I can tell, but everything between it and town has to annex eventually.

Minden’s also discussing raising the rates on the town rentals, including the CVIC Hall and Minden Park. The board meets 5:30 p.m. in the hall.

Genoa Town Board members will discuss contracts for most of Candy Dance parking with two new groups, Carson Valley Wildcats wrestling club and the Snowshoe Thompson Chapter 1827 of E. Clampus Vitus. The Town Board meets 4:30 p.m. in the Genoa Town Hall.

Heritage Park Garden Q&A Sessions start up 5:30 p.m. today, and will continue Wednesdays, except for Wind Down Wednesdays at the gardens, 1461 Ezell St., Gardnerville.

Looking at another mild day with sunny skies and a high temperature of 83 degrees in the forecast. A light breeze is predicted to pick up out of the north this afternoon.
