Visitors peruse the booths at Art & Wine on the Green on Saturday morning in Gardnerville.

So, you attended all three Hot Air for Hope balloon launches in Lampe Park, visited the Holy Smokers Car Show and availed yourself of both plant sales, and maybe even watched the big bicycle race.

If you’re looking to unwind after all that activity, one option is attending the Art & Wine on the Green at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center in Gardnerville.

Douglas County Historical Society’s Brendan Hansen said there were a dozen booths.

“There’s a variety of art and jewelry and things like that,” she said. “It’s a fundraiser for the Historical Society.”

Art and Wine on the Green continues until 3 p.m. today.

Conditions in Gardnerville will be nice today under sunny skies and a high temperature of around 75 degrees.

The zephyr is forecast to pick up at 2 p.m., with west winds 15-20 mph gusting up to 30 mph.
