Artists needed for art and wine festival

Applications are being accepted for artist participation in the Douglas County Historical Society's Art and Wine Festival. The festival will be 4-8 p.m. July 19 on the front lawn of the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center in Gardnerville.

The event also features wine tasting, music and food booths set up in the parking lot. The public will be invited to enjoy music, food and wine and purchase the displayed art.
