Genoa, Nev. — A $23,350 contract to work on the Arbor Gardens sidewalk sections that are being lifted up by the trees in the landscaping is under consideration by Gardnerville Town Board members at their meeting 4:30 p.m. today. They’ll be working on the final budget for the town, as well.


Work on the Minden pillars is progressing nicely as the brickwork has begun. At the rate they’re going the pillars will be back up in time for the Keele’s to put up the wreaths this Christmas.


Artists Irene Taylor and Hank George have an exhibit going up in the Copeland Building starting today through almost the end of June. Visit cvartscouncil.com for more information.


Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School is celebrating its 30th anniversary on June 8 and the staff is seeking people who worked there. Anyone interested is asked to email Brittany McRae at bmcrae@dcsd.k12.nv.us for more information.


Not much to say about today’s forecast except sunny and a high of 64 degrees, with the wind out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.
