What could be one of the nation’s most innovative Tesla solar-powered homes is under construction at Clear Creek Tahoe and on the market for $12.75 million. The 7,142 square-foot estate comes complete with a Tesla Cybertruck.

“The home’s design embraces Tesla’s cutting-edge technology and the community’s mission to be stewards of the land,” said Chase International Listing Agent Mike Dunn. “We are proud to represent a new era of sustainable luxury living in one of the West’s most prestigious resort communities.”

Whisper Homes is developing the residence. They describe the home as a “true masterpiece of modern living and environmental sustainability.”

JKE Architects, Realm Construction and Saint Pierre Interiors have been contracted for this unprecedented project.

It is one of the very few homes in the Silver State that includes Tesla’s Solar Roof, Tesla Power Walls and a fully integrated solar and energy storage system including generators and a battery backup system.  Depending on the situation, the power walls have a “gateway” that essentially acts as a switch and allows for remote control of power distribution to required circuits when the grid is down.

The Tesla app also lets the homeowner take the home off-grid whenever desired. The application can be used to operate the home on solar and battery when power rates are high and recharge when power rates are low. The system can project incoming weather data and program to charge to 100 percent in anticipation of needing battery backup.

“This estate is a work of art inspired by the legacy and culture of its surroundings,” said Whisper Homes CEO Omri Suissa. “Complementing its innovative engineering and design are its entertainment features that make the home ideal for entertaining after a round of golf or a day on the slopes.”

Indoors, the home’s 3,539 square foot Main Level includes an expansive great room, dining area, kitchen with natural quartzite slab countertops, a full suite of Miele appliances and custom dual-temperature wine cellars. The entire primary suite is dedicated to luxurious privacy with a secluded porch and office areas.

This Whisper Homes’ showcase property was specifically designed for enjoying life indoors and out. The Main Level includes a 1,700 square-foot patio with a fireplace, a built-in barbecue, a spacious jacuzzi accommodating over a dozen people and Clear Creek Tahoe’s first property offered for sale with an inground swimming pool.

Its 1,807 square-foot Upper Level, which is accessible by stairs or elevator, is host to a second primary suite and two additional en-suite bedrooms.

The home’s footprint also includes a 2,085 square-foot subterranean garage with space for six cars and room for motorcycles, snowmobiles and golf carts, including two EV car charging ports. The Lower Level also features 1,796 square-feet of space for a customizable flex room.

The developers have included a Cybertruck as part of the purchase price.

Clear Creek Tahoe is a 2,136-acre private residential community with 853 acres in conservation.

Its amenities include a Coore & Crenshaw golf course, ranked as Golfweek’s No. 1 private course in Nevada and 32nd of the Top 100 U.S. Residential Courses. Resident benefits also include a recently completed clubhouse with fitness and spa services, a Summit Camp pool complex with sport courts, overnight guest cottages and the historic Twin Pines Lake and Ski House on the shores of Lake Tahoe.
