Tickets are on sale now for Genoa Western Heritage Days Town Hall Concerts and Progressive Dinner, taking place in Nevada’s oldest town April 26-28.

The April 26 concert features Western musicians Dave Stamey and Carin Mari. Stamey, a former cowboy, mule packer and dude wrangler, was named Best Living Western Solo Musician four years in a row by True West Magazine. Carin Mari hails from the Colorado Rockies and is an award-winning singer-writer who has appeared on stage at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

On April 27, Trinity Seely and Sam Platts and the Plainsmen perform. Seely, one of True West’s favorite Western Artists, sings from the perspective of a ranch wife, cowgirl and mother. Sam Platts and the Plainsmen combine vocals, fiddle, bass and electric guitar as they bring their traditional country and Western swing music to life.

Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in the historic Town Hall, 2287 Main Street, Genoa. Tickets are $45.

Sure to sell out is the popular Progressive Dinner, a chance to try a nosh and libation at four of Genoa’s eateries. Participants receive passports and colored wristbands that let them rotate between participating restaurants in timed groups. The Progressive Dinner takes place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. April 27; tickets are $40.

Those wishing to attend both concerts and support the event are encouraged to become Heritage Sponsors. Sponsorships include a ticket to each concert plus four drink tickets and are $150.

Because Genoa Western Heritage Days is produced by the Friends of Genoa, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Town of Genoa, Heritage Sponsorships may be tax deductible.

In addition to the ticketed Town Hall Concerts and Progressive Dinner, Genoa Western Heritage Days offers a free, family-friendly festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 27, with live music, demonstrations, kids’ activities, and a Horse Parade. In addition, Trinity Seely will perform during Cowboy Church on Sunday, April 28.
