Will T-Swift’s “Anti-Hero” win the Record of the Year, or will she be toppled by one of the other seven nominees, including Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo?

The top bidder for this year’s $9,000 prize could watch in person at the Feb. 4 Grammy’s in Los Angeles if they have the top bid at the Douglas County Community and Senior Center Foundation’s annual silent auction.

The auction opened Nov. 21 at https://web.bidbeacon.com/share/auction.php?code=PS2WL9

The Grammy trip includes three days and two nights at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel for two, bronze level seating at the Grammy’s and tickets to the after party. Already have plans for the 2024 weekend? You could go in 2025, according to the item details.

While the Grammy’s are the top prize, pricewise, there are more than 70 others that include golfing, skiing, cruises, trips to Italy, Hawaii or Jackson Hole or Disneyland. There’s also lots of authenticated and original sports and entertainment memorabilia.

Who knows? Someone might finally buy the naming rights for the center’s bathrooms away from longtime Community Services Director Scott Morgan.

The foundation is a registered charitable nonprofit organization that raises funds to add improvements to the county’s community centers. The Foundation has raised millions in private donations since 2014 to support youth and teen scholarships and programs, kitchen equipment, exercise equipment, gym bleachers, a memorial garden and celebration wall, youth athletic equipment, and most recently, the effort to purchase emergency backup generators for Kahle Community Center, Topaz Ranch Estates Community Center, and the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

This fundraiser is made possible thanks to donations from the Douglas County Community Services Foundation board members and sponsors include Heavenly Vail Resorts Epic Promise, Edgewood Golf, Carson Valley Golf Course, Genoa Wellness Spa, and personal donors.

The access code is PS2WL9

The auction concludes 5 p.m. Dec. 15. Items may be immediately picked up. For any questions call (775) 782-9829.
