Santa will be back in the pool Dec. 9 at the Carson Valley Swim Center.
Carson Valley Swim Center is hosting its second annual Underwater Santa Photo event Dec. 9.
The two sessions will be 10 a.m. to noon and another will be 1-3 p.m.
Pictures will be emailed out to participants. The Swim Center is encouraging participants to bring goggles, any holiday props they want, or even their favorite Christmas attire. Cost is the usual entry fee of $4 for youth and seniors and $6 for adultsThe event is for all ages.
Library to get visit from the Clauses
The Minden branch of the Douglas County Public Library will get a visit from Nevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus 4:30 p.m. Dec. 15.
There will be a special Storytime by Mrs. Claus. All ages are welcome to attend.
This visit is sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas County Public Library.
