New deputy a lifelong Douglas resident

ASPIRE graduate Daniel Livingston was sworn in as a Douglas County deputy on Feb. 27 by Douglas County Sheriff Dan Coverley.

Livingston’s family moved to Gardnerville when he was 3 years old, according to mother Sheri.

The 2020 graduate attended Meneley Elementary, Pau-Wa-Lu Middle and Douglas High schools before graduation.

He was also a Civil Air Patrol cadet, appearing in the front seat of a glider in a Nov. 25, 2015, edition of The Record-Courier.
