Douglas County Community Development will conduct a public hearing 10 a.m. Sept. 15 at the historic Douglas County Courthouse, 1616 8th St., Minden, in order to discuss potential applications for funding under the next fiscal year’s State Community Development Block Grant Program and to solicit additional citizen input on possible activities to be included in an application.

The purpose of this public hearing is to give residents an opportunity to discuss proposed projects submitted to date and to suggest further ideas.

Proposed projects will be presented at the hearing. A final hearing will be held to discuss, approve and rank applications prior to submittal to the state.

If you require special accommodations to participate in the public hearing, contact the Douglas County Manager’s Office at 775-782-9821.
