2023 Mechanical Building Reroofing

Sealed bids for the 2023 Mechanical Building Reroofing project for

Douglas County Lake Tahoe Sewer Authority (DCLTSA) will be received

at the Owner’s Office:

Bids must be received prior to 2:00 pm, local time, on December

13, 2022. Bids will be subsequently opened and read aloud by a

representative of the Owner. The bid will be awarded by December 21,

2022.

Prospective Bidders shall be licensed Contractors in the State of

Nevada, and qualified pursuant to NRS 338.1379 or 338.1382.

The work, located in Zephyr Cove, NV includes demolition of current

roofing and reroof of commercial building, approximately 13,000 square

feet. Date of substantial completion is May 31, 2023. The Engineer’s

Estimate of Probable Construction Costs for the project is $205,000.

Each Bid shall be accompanied by bid security as described in the

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. No proposal will be considered unless

accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Certified or Cashier’s

Check, or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the

bid.

Bids must be accompanied by a bid security. NRS 338.147 provides

for a five percent (5%) bidder preference to bidders who qualify for the

preference. The requirements for receiving the preference are detailed

in the statute. Prevailing Wage Rates as established by the State Labor

Commission shall be paid.

Plans, Specifications, and Bid Documents may be examined or obtained

at the Issuing Office. Bidders must register with the Issuing Office as

Official Plan Holders; the non-refundable cost of each set of documents

is $15.00. The Issuing Office is located at:

A pre-bid conference will be held at the Owner’s office at 9:00

am, November 15, 2022. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is

recommended, but not mandatory.

DCLTSA reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive

informalities, and to negotiate with the apparent best qualified Bidder

to such an extent as may be necessary. Omission of, or improper

completion of any of the Bidding Documents, will be considered as a

reason for rejection of the Bid.
