The theme for this year’s Carson Valley Days is “The Happiest Valley on Earth."

The annual celebration of all things Carson Valley is June 9-12 with the parade on June 11.

Active 20-30 Club members Kyle Jarboe and Cody Burkhauser will be helming the parade this year, according to Past National President Tommy Lovell.

Applications for parade vendors and sponsorships are available online at carsonvalley2030.com

The first Carson Valley Day was in 1910 and brought thousands of visitors to the Minden to see the Valley’s agricultural bounty.

While there were occasionally parades prior to World War II, the current string of parades started in 1946 and have occurred every year since.
