The Lady Wave basketball team advanced to 12-0 in the Northern 3A Friday, after traveling to Truckee and defeating the Lady Wolverines 69-44.
The game was close, though Fallon outscored Truckee in each quarter. The first quarter ended 18-13 then climbed to 35-23 at halftime. The Wave exploded out in the third quarter, scoring 11 points over Truckee, 59-36. The teams were near even in the final period with Fallon only scoring two points more than Truckee.
The Lady Wave hosts Dayton Friday at 5 p.m. This will be their last home game of the season and senior night; seniors Kaitlyn Hunter, Caitlyn Welch, Faith Cornmesser, Hannah Hitchcock and Hannah Evans will be recognized for their time and accomplishments on the team.
