Prep Roundup: Dayton High basketball swept at South Tahoe

LAKE TAHOE — Dayton fell behind by 11 points and never recovered en route to a 78-45 loss to South Tahoe on Tuesday night.

Dayton returns to action Friday at 7:30 p.m. at home against Fallon.

“We didn’t play in a tournament over the break, and we looked rusty,” said Kevin Ply, Dayton assistant coach. “We made them look good.”

Dayton suited up just eight players, as two players were on vacation.

Chase Peterson led Dayton with 18 points and Trevor Burrows added 13.
