Ardell Maben passed away peacefully in her sleep in Carson City at the age of 97. She was born and raised in Elkton, OR., and lived in Lake County, California, until the passing of her beloved husband Leroy, in November of 2000, after 56 years of marriage.
She is survived by daughters, Leona (Nick) Pchelkin, Minden, NV; Phyllis (Dennis) Lee, Sun Lakes, AZ; and Kathy Greenly, Oregon City, OR; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 19, at 2:00 pm at Fitzhenry’s Funeral Home in Carson City, followed by a Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ardell’s memory to the charity of your choice or to the Silver Hills Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Carson City.
