April 11, 1957 ~ Sept. 18, 2016
Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Timothy (Tim) Lee Jennings, passed away unexpectedly, on September 18, 2016, while in the Bay Area following a SF Giants game. He was a big fan.
Tim was born on April 11, 1957, to Averald (Al) and Mary Anne Jennings in Yerington, Nevada. He and his family moved to Carson City, Nevada, on December 26, 1964.
Tim graduated from Carson High School in 1975, and worked for the State of Nevada in various departments, retiring from the Nevada Department of Transportation in January 2007.
He married our mother, Deborah White, and they had us, Amelia and Charles. Upon his retirement, he and his then-wife, Corrine, moved to LaJunta, Colorado, to manage the KOA Campground in LaJunta. After that adventure, he returned to Carson City, where he lived until his passing.
Tim was a generous man, he could always be counted on to lend a hand whenever and wherever one was needed, and would never expect anything in return. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandsons; he also enjoyed working on vehicles and cooking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, David Jay Jennings.
He is survived by his companion Monica DiConza, his daughter, Amelia (Linn) Hudson, and son, Charles (Lucy) Jennings, his brothers, Rex (Jackie) Jennings and Tod Jennings, and sisters, Sandra Egoscue and Hope Tingle; grandsons, Patrick Broussard, Nolan and Marcus Jennings. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his many friends here in town.
Services will be at a later date.
