Christina (Chris) was born June 13th, 1951 to Paul Dewitt and Bertha Ellen Henning at Santa Rosa Memorial hospital in California. She married her first husband Roland (Ron) Bull at the age of 16 and had two children, Marlena Mae and Roy Lewis. She became a widow at the age of 19 1/2.
She met and married her second husband Steven Myers in San Mateo, California at the age of 22 and soon moved to Lake Tahoe, NV with her 2 children.
Chris worked for Harrah’s entertainment in Stateline Nevada for 23 yrs. Chris will be rembered for her supervisor and mangement positions in different locations which she held over the years, her culinary expertise, her love of life, her sense of humor and generosity.
She was grateful and blessed to have so many friends and a family that truly loved and cared for her. She could have been the best events coordinator around, as she truly loved planning events and hosting parties. Her tea parties were exceptional!
She was known for speaking her mind and always telling the truth, whether you wanted to hear it or not, but God blesssed her with a genuine warmth and love for people and everyone she met. I think it was her bright blue eyes that were captivating.
Chris is survived by her husband Steven Myers; her daughter Marlena Caballero; her son Roy Bull; her grandchildren Britney Schmidt, Joshua Mendez, Cody Bull, Andrew Caballero, Brandon Caballero and Spencer Bull; her sisters
Sharon Rico, Susan Coleman; and brother Robert Henning.
A Celebration of Life will be held December 4th, at 3:30 pm at the Carson Valley Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville, NV 89410
