VIVIAN E. WEIGEL SERPA, passed away on May 6, 2016 after a short illness near her home of Tortuguero Costa Rica. She was born August 2, 1936 to Robert “Bob” and Effie Weigel. Vivian was a true “free spirit” her whole life. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, travel, watching sunsets, and the sea turtles on her beloved Island of Tortuguero, Costa Rica. She is survived by her daughters, Shari (Doyle) Nicholson of Fallon, NV and Ilene (Bruce) Jonas of Elko, NV; grandchildren, JD Nicholson and Quinn and Bailey Jonas; sisters, Sandy (Ken) Myers of Redmond, OR and Cindy (Norris) Tibbetts of Redmond, OR and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services were held on Saturday May 7, 2016 in Tortuguero.
