1938 – 2016

Elisabeth “Betty” Rebiejo, a long time Topaz Ranch Estates Resident, was born 12/15/1938 in San Francisco, California to parents Dorothy Putnam and Dr. John Edward Kistler. She passed peacefully in Reno under the wonderful care of the Renown staff on Thursday, 5/26/2016, at age 77. Betty lived most of her adult life as a resident of Bridgeport California, Yerington Nevada, Carson City, and Topaz Ranch Estates. She loved the Sierra Nevada region and the people she

associated with in all the places she resided. She was active throughout her life where she was frequently found outdoors, hiking, taking pictures, tending to her yard and garden, or engaged Beta Sigma Phi and Church activities.

Betty married Norris Hinton 6/21/1957 and together raised three children, Norrene, Gary, and David. While they divorced they remained devoted and caring lifelong friends. Betty was united in marriage to Mike Rebiejo 11/20/1988 and they happily lived out their senior years together until Mike’s passing in 2010. Betty had one sister, Pamela who preceded her in death. Family was Betty’s greatest focus and priority in life. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who never missed recognizing a birthday or anniversary. Betty is survived by her 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. The grave dedication for Betty will be held at 9 A.M. Saturday, 6/4/2016 at the Eastside Memorial Park, 1600 Buckeye Road, Minden, NV, followed at 10 A.M. with a Memorial at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1095 Spruce St, Minden, NV.
