Terry Edward Kendrick





Terry Edward Kendrick passed away Thursday, July 14th, 2016 after a 14 year valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends.


Terry was born and raised in Fallon, Nevada and predeceased by his parents, Ned & Grace Kendrick, and both his siblings, Wendy and Tom Kendrick.


He graduated from Cal State East Bay with a teaching Credential and later in life returned to Cal Southern University to earn his Masters in clinical psychology.


He had 4 diverse careers; a high school teacher in Bakersfield, an auto parts store owner in Fallon Nevada, financial advisor for Lincoln Financial Advisors. But his life’s purpose was fulfilled as a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist at Community Presbyterian Counseling Center in San Ramon for the past few years if his life.


Terry was best known and loved for his infectious enthusiasm, boundless energy and passion for life. He was a lifelong game hunter, archer, fisherman and outdoorsman. He fascinated people with stories of his youth growing up in an accomplished, adventurous family in Nevada, of whom he was so proud.


Although he never retired from work, Terry felt privileged to travel the world with his wife, Harva, and spent his last years working as a psychotherapist at Community Presbyterian Counseling Center with his esteemed co-workers and clients.


He is survived by his devoted wife, Harva, son, Patrick Kendrick (Jackie), daughter, Erin Havlik (Ted), his step children, Andrea Waite (Sean), Darren Lewallen (Missy), Frank Quattro (Christina), Pamela Cerruti (Rich), and his

adoring grandchildren Alexandria, Jeremy, Stephen, Savannah, Dominic, Kyra, Gabriel and step grandchildren, Kari, Kati, Ty, Logan, Cori, Mason, Megan, Sydney, Amanda, Jenna, Johnny and Kennedy.


Terry was a true and humble servant of Jesus and loved giving, helping and making positive differences in the lives of others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.


Funeral services will be held on Fri., August 5, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Isidore Catholic Church, at 440 La Gonda Way, Danville followed by a Reception/Celebration of Life.
