Elmer (Ed) Walter Waterhouse

Elmer (Ed) Walter Waterhouse was born on July, 29, 1921. He died quietly in his sleep on December 18, 2016.


He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Marie and Charles Waterhouse. He had two brothers, Charles and George Waterhouse, and a sister, Irene Scott-Smith, all who have preceded him in death.


He joined the Navy in 1942 and was enrolled in the V-12 program, and received his electrical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.


After the Navy he moved to California and met his wife Maureen Riley. They were blessed with three children. With his family by his side, he worked and lived around the world including: Vietnam, Ghana, Iran and Saudi Arabia, until he retired to Zepher Cove, Nevada, and later moved to Carson City, Nevada.


He is survived by his wife, Maureen Waterhouse; sons, Andrew Waterhouse (Catherine Brown), Riley Waterhouse (Pamela Tumbusch); daughter, Mary Pat Waterhouse, (Wayne Trada); grandchildren,Kelly Hodges, James Waterhouse and Margret Waterhouse, and 3 greatgrandchildren.


Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10 am at St. Theresa of Avila Church, 3000 N. Lompa Ln., Carson City, Nevada,
