Introduction to PowerPoint will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 5.
Computers for beginners will be from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 10.
How to make flyers in Word will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 12.
Using the Foundation Directory Online will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17.
Using resume templates will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 19.
A session about web browsing will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 24.

Free events planned at Sierra Place
Free events in November are planned at Sierra Place Senior Living, 1111 W. College Parkway.
Jan Loverin, who served as curator of the Nevada State Museumâs Marjorie Russel Clothing and Textile Center for more than 30 years, will talk about the history of menâs and womenâs underwear in Knickers and Bloomers, a presentation at 2 p.m. Nov. 4.
Michelle Lehmann and high school students will present Cyber Seniors, a talk about seniors and their Internet use, at 2 p.m. Nov. 8.
Mark McLaughlin will talk about the Mexican-American War, the Gold Rush and the Comstock mining era at 10 a.m. Nov. 10.
In observance of Veterans Day, the Childrenâs Performance Choir, directed by Tim Nolte, will sing patriotic songs at 2 p.m. Nov. 11. The choir features elementary school children from Dayton.

Inaugural Kettle Kick-off event planned
The Salvation Army, 661 Colorado St., is holding its inaugural Kettle Kick-off event with food, a silent auction and kettle competition from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 20.

âBabes in Toylandâ performances planned
Wild Horse Childrenâs Theater is putting on a classic holiday musical whose characters are based on those of âMother Goose.â
âBabes in Toylandâ will play at 7 p.m. Fridays; 2 and 7 p.m. Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays from Dec. 4 through 13 in the Brewery Arts Centerâs Performance Hall, 511 W. King St.
