Carson Street between Hot Springs and College Parkway

Carson City emergency crews are on scene after a utility pole crashed into a blue pickup truck about 9:45 a.m. Friday. All lanes of Carson Street between Hot Springs Road and College Parkway were closed as crews clean up.

According to officers on scene, a car hauler was turning out of the parking lot of a dealership — with the blue pickup on top — when the pickup’s camper snagged on the pole and ripped it out of the ground causing the pole to fall and the camper of the truck to also hit the ground. No injuries were reported.
