Carson City store honored for outstanding performance

The Sears Hometown Store of Carson City was named a 2015 “Sears Hometown Premier Store” for consistently offering a high level of customer service. The award also acknowledged the store’s outstanding performance and quality of standards.

Located on the north end of Carson City at 3917 N. Carson St., the store was one of only 208 locations throughout the company’s 912-unit system to receive the national recognition this past quarter, adding on to its string of 12 consecutive quarters it has achieved this status.

Only 23 percent of Sears Hometown Stores receive the award. As part of this honor, each Premier Store is given the opportunity to participate in events along with other Premier Stores throughout the year.

Sears Hometown Stores combine the value, selection and services associated with larger retail stores but are owned and operated by a member of the local community. Each location provides exceptional customer service along with a wide assortment of appliances, tools, electronics and fitness equipment as well as lawn and garden merchandise.
