Mary Pauline “Polly” Dailey

April 27, 1932 - June 3, 2014

Born April 27, 1932 (a southern lady) in Selma, Alabama. Deceased June 3, 2014.Polly grew up learning the ways of the farm, cooking and sewing. Attending Sunday school and church. Graduated high school in May 1951. Worked in the medical field for 28 years in four different medical hospitals in California and Nevada. Retired August 2000. Polly is survived by daughter, Pastor Sherrie Dailey, son, Jan and wife Cheryl, daughter, Mary Carver, and son, Patrick. Ten grandchildren: Robert J. Nelson., Robert Kappleman, Julie Nelson (deceased), Joleen Nelson, Joi Nelson, Jamie Nelson, Stacy Huntington, Lori Cross, Chris Carver, and Michelle Carver. 22 great grandchildren: Paris, Justice, Mia, Ray Jr., Alexandria, Shawna, David, Brandon, Greyson, Wesley, Taylor, Devon, Aiden, Liam, Ashton, Michael, Angelina, Joseph, Joshua, Jacob, Eddy, and Loralai. Polly loved playing her four organs and guitar, cooking, designing her own greeting cards. She enjoyed times spent with her family and dear friends Peggy V., Alicia and Rose D. She will be truly missed. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life to be held at Walton Carson Gardens, Carson City, NV on June 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
