Margaret F. (Lollie) Jackson

Sept. 17, 1932 - Oct. 10, 2014

Lollie was born in Montebello, CA to Frank and Margaret Meeker. Lollie is survived by her husband, Carl, of 54 years, two sons, Frank Gray (Roxie), Carl Jackson (Dena), two daughters, Vivian Miltenberger (Terry), Carla Wilson (Wayne) all of whom reside in Carson City, and two step-daughters, Cindy Mayer (Val) of Laguna Beach, CA, and Jenny Crabtree (Bobby) from La Habra, CA. Lollie was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosie Subert and Charlene Anderson, and is survived by two sisters, Betty Gaby and Darlene Wood. She has 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She lived in southern California for most of her life before moving to Carson City where she has resided since April 1981, with her 4 children, eventually all moving here also. She worked at the Carson Nugget Snack Bar and was a Slot Supervisor for Jackpot Enterprises, but her greatest joy was taking care of and providing for her family. She was a “crafty” kind of person who loved to sew, knit, and crochet. She took great pride in making things for her family and everyone has something that she has hand-crafted. Lollie hand crocheted and donated several lap blankets to nursing homes and the Carson City Senior Center. She loved to play board or card games and spent hours on end playing with family or friends. She loved being in her RV camping and fishing at Topaz Lake or at Lake of the Woods, Oregon. Lollie will be remembered as a loving, caring and happy person and will truly be missed by her family and many friends. We take comfort in knowing that she is home with the Lord. We love you and miss you. Services will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 3:00pm at Calvary Chapel, 1635 Clearview Dr, Carson City, NV, with a reception immediately following at same site. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Calvary Chapel South Lake Tahoe, 807 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe CA 96150. Arrangements are in the care of Autumn Funerals & Cremations. To view the online memorial and sign the register book please visit www.autumnfuneral.com
