The Carson City Junior Little League team used a 10-run fourth inning to cruise to a 14-2 win over Carson Valley Monday night at Governors Field.
Carson Valley took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Carson tied the game in the second inning before taking a 4-2 lead in the third inning.
Ethan Good and Wyatt Rooker were both solid on the mound for Carson. Carson plays at 7:30 p.m. tonight against Reno National. Carson Valley plays Wednesday in the double-elimination tournament.
