Peggy Mitchell passed away peacefully in Washoe Valley, NV, at her home of 50 years.
Peggy was born on October 25, 1930, in Kanosh, Utah.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Mitchell in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Rice, and son-in-law, Keith Rice; sons, John Mitchell, and James Mitchell; granddaughter, Jodie McAndrews (Pat McAndrews); grandson, Willie Rice; great grandchildren, Kriston Rice, and Braydon Rice.
She lost her battle to cancer of ten years. Peggy loved the outdoors, and loved to be with family. She worked in Mervins Carson City for 20 plus years. She will be missed dearly.

Memorial Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley.
