Obituary: Anne Marie Jones

May 20, 1944 - July 23, 2013

Anne was born in Albany, Calif. and grew up in the Bishop-Lone Pine area. She moved to Carson City in 1971 where she held various jobs ranging from waitress to corrections officer in all three prisons. Anne retired as a Deputy Sheriff for Carson City Sheriff’s Dept. in December of 1999.

Anne is survived by her husband, Fred Jones; daughters, Nicole Jones-Shore and Kim Jones and her grandchildren, Johnathon Jones, Shauntaé Jones, Stephanie Jones and Ashley Shore.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley on Monday, Aug. 5th. A reception will follow from 12:30 to 2:30 at the Plaza Motel Convention Center, 211 East 9th St.
