Samuel “Sammy” L. Scott, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013. He was born on August 13, 1943 in Downey, California to Milton Claude and Octavia Lucille Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janis “Sugar Babe”; children, Roxanne, Sheldon and Matlock; grandchildren, Kali, Brittani, Breauna, Kandace, Sydney, Josh and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Cody, Myleigh, Keauna, and Levi; and siblings, Paul, Jerry, Richie, Woody, Marshall and Tisha, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held at 12 p. m. on July 8th at Walton’s Funeral Home, 1281 N. Roop Street.
