Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for April 11. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

• Costco Wholesale Corporation, Grocery, 700 Old Clear Creek Road, scored 100 points.

• Costco Wholesale Corporation, Produce Department, 700 Old Clear Creek Road, scored 100 points.

• Costco Wholesale Corporation, Restaurant, 700 Old Clear Creek Road, scored 100 points.

• Costco Wholesale Corporation, Bakery, 700 Old Clear Creek Road, scored 100 points.

• Garibaldi’s, 307 N. Carson St., scored 96 points. There were no chlorine test strips available to verify the sanitizer level in the dishwasher. At least one employee of this establishment must be a certified food handler.

• Jackpot Crossing Casino, Beverage Center Bar, 1897 N. Edmonds Dr., scored 100 points.

• Jackpot Crossing Casino, First Floor Bar, 1897 N. Edmonds Dr., scored 100 points.

• National’s Cafe, 1701 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Panda Kitchen, 1986 E. Highway 50, scored 98 points. Food stored in refrigerators and freezers was not properly dated and labeled. Garbage dumpsters were noted open at the time of inspection. The grease receptacle and nearby ground area was noted soiled with grease and food debris.

• Port of Subs, 3721 N. Carson St., scored 99 points. There was no measurable sanitizer chlorine residual in the cloth storage bucket at the front service counter, corrected on site.

• Schat’s Bakery Restaurant, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 98 points. All foods stored in the walk-in refrigerator for the deli were not dated and labeled. Single service utensils were noted stored with the business end up in the dispensers.

• Schat’s Bakery, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 98 points. Bakery can opener was soiled with food debris at the time of inspection.

• Schat’s Bakery Cake Shop, 1212 S. Stewart St., scored 100 points.

• Seven Eleven, 3838 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

• The Basil, 311 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Villa Basque Deli, 730 Basque Way, scored 97 points. Bags of ice for sale were not properly labeled. Black plastic bags were being used to store tortillas, corrected on site. Food was found stored on the floor in the walk-in freezer, corrected on site. Foods were not stored properly in the ice baths, corrected on site.

• Z Bistro, 725 Basque Way, Suite 1, scored 96 points. Found two containers of expired heavy whipping cream. The ice machine was not clean inside.
