Best mudslinging

EDITOR:

It is time to say thanks to our wonderful community, businesses and parents from Douglas High School Volleyball. We had a successful MudFest Tournament, car wash, bake sale and raffle. Without the hundreds of hours put in by the girls and their parents, the local businesses who donate prizes and labor, and the parents, friends and neighbors we would not succeed.

A special thanks to Curtis and Sons, Inc. for building the courts, North Sails for the lining, Roxanne Stangle of the Minden Farmers Market for letting us sell raffle tickets at the market, and Stratton Center for allowing us to have our car wash and bake sale in their parking lot. Raffle donors were All American Tire, Battle Born Wine, Body Language, Classical Glass, CVI, DHS All Sport Booster Club, Heart Strings Gift Shop, Jesse's Hairport, Jumbo's Deli, Keva Juice, Lasting Impressions, Lavender Farms, Max's Pet Supply, Nic & Willies Pizza, Oakly, Olson Heating. Russell's Mercantile, Sapphire Wizards, Shear Heaven, Silver Strike Lanes, Small Car Motors, Starbucks, Stebel Photography, Stella Designs, Sugar Plum Bakery, Taildragger Cafe, Thai Jasmine, Trader Joes, Walmart, Wasabi's Sushi, Western Nevada Supply, World Gym, and 88 Cups.

These businesses support our kids groups and sports programs so please, next time you need to buy a gift, get a haircut, eat a fine meal, visit the people that help make this community so great. Support the local businesses that support you.
