With only a few weeks and not a lot of forecast moisture to go in the water year, the Carson River basin has received 95 percent of its annual average precipitation.
According to the National weather Service, Minden had the highest percentage of moisture compared to a typical year with 124 percent. Markleeville was next up with 112 percent of average.
Ebbetts Pass was the wettest spot in the basin, receiving 98 percent of its total moisture for the year with 55.98 inches of precipitation since Oct. 1, 2009.
The driest place in the basin was the Fallon Experimental Station which received 5.3 inches of moisture.
Telemetry in the high Sierra showed Ebbetts, Monitor Pass and Poison Flat landed right around 100 percent. Blue Lakes, Caples Lake and Spratt Creek came in at between 89 and 95 percent.
The water year goes from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30.
