EDITOR:
I am writing this letter to voice my support for Nancy McDermid for Douglas County Commissioner District 4. As you may remember I wrote a letter in support of her four years ago and nothing since then has changed my support. Her experience, passion and competence are unmatched in my opinion for this job. She has lived in the Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley areas for over 30 years. Her love of this area is now enhanced by her experience after serving the last four years as a Douglas County Commissioner. In these difficult times Douglas County needs her experience and wisdom to fulfill the vision that most of the residents of Douglas have for our unique spot on Earth.
I strongly urge you to vote for Nancy McDermid for Douglas County Commissioner District 4.
