Knights of Columbus bingo at St. Gall Church today benefits the Kids & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center. Doors open at 6 p.m., play starts at 7 p.m. Buy-in of $21. The church is at 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville.
Two $1,199 jackpots and one $650 jackpot are possible. Regular game jackpots are $100 and warm-up games jackpots are $50. Food and drinks available for purchase. Knights provide popcorn, beverages and snacks. Information, 265-5719.
The Kids & Horses riding program for children and adults with physical and/or emotional disabilities offers horsemanship as therapy that improves strength, balance, coordination and self-esteem. The philosophy of Kids & Horses is everybody, regardless of their disabilities, can benefit from an equine relationship.
The Knights of Columbus Gardnerville Council Bingo Nights, held on the second and fourth Fridays of the month, raise funds for local causes.
