The Record-Courier will host its third online town hall election forum tonight, this time for the Douglas County School Board. We'll fire up at 4 p.m. and be open for questions through 5:30 p.m. The forum will wrap up at 6. Visit the Web site and you'll see the link.

Indian Hills General Improvement District trustees are holding two public hearings tonight to discuss altering the water rate schedule based on the meter size and usage rate. Also, manager Jim Taylor is seeking a one-year extension of his contract. The board meets at 6 p.m. in the district offices next to James Lee Park.

The weather should be sunny and warm today with a high temperature hitting 70. The low this morning looks to have stayed well above freezing, with 36 degrees in Minden, 39 in Genoa and 40 in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
