A public workshop to show off proposals for the Airport Master Plan is 6 p.m. today at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Another workshop is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Airport Administrative Office on Airport Road and 6 p.m. Thursday at Edgewood Village at the Lake. Residents will be allowed to provide feedback on the airport plans.
Also meeting tonight is the Indian Hills General Improvement District board, where they'll presumably discuss the matter of their recalcitrant district manager, who quit, and then didn't quit. Dennis Longhofer's contract expires in March, and it's doubtful it will be renewed. Indian Hills meets at 6 p.m. today.
The Bodden murder trial resumes this morning in Minden. With a week and a half left to go and only 12 jurors in the box, the question is whether the case will make it to a verdict at this point.
The forecast for today is partly sunny with a high in the mid-30s. The weather will warm up until Saturday when a small storm brings a chance of snow showers.
