Marianne Wood and Seth Gardner are engaged to be married Jan. 15, 2011, at Genoa Community Church.

Marianne is the daughter of Brian and Joanne Wood of Gardnerville. She is a 2007 graduate of Douglas High School, and a 2010 graduate of Carson City Beauty Academy. She is an aesthetician at Drago Salon and Day Spa.

Seth is the son of Joseph and Carol Gardner of Minden. He graduated from Douglas High School in 2004, and the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2009. He works at Home Depot.
