School district seeking input on vision statement

The Douglas County School Board is inviting public input for the development of their vision statement.

Until Dec. 8, a two-question survey can be accessed on the district's website, www.dcsd.k12.nv.us.

"A vision statement should inspire each of us to picture what our district could be for all students if we achieved our goals," said Superintendent Lisa Noonan. "The district is also working to revise its current mission statement and is asking for your preference to the suggested change. We appreciate everyone's participation."
