The Young At Heart Senior Citizens Club in conjunction with the Douglas County Senior Center, and with the assistance from the students of Gardnerville Elementary School and Douglas High School are preparing Christmas gift bags for the recipients of Meals-on-Wheels and Douglas County homebound seniors.
Gift bags will be assembled Dec. 10 at the senior center, and be delivered with the meals-on wheels between Dec. 14 and 16.
Donations of small presents are needed such as sample size shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion, lip balm, playing cards, games, candy, cans of nuts, wash cloths, hand towels, socks, gloves and ornaments. Also needed is sugar-free candy.
