EDITOR:
I strongly support Ted Thran, CPA for Douglas County clerk-treasurer. Ted is a dedicated, hard working individual, more than fully qualified for this position. He has already proven his dedication by his service to our county for years before his appointment to the clerk-treasurer position.
As a life-long resident of Douglas County, Ted knows this community and always strives to do what is best for the people here. He is not a politician, and for that I am truly grateful.
I have known Ted Thran for my entire life, as a friend and a co-worker. I can think of no one better suited for the position of clerk-treasurer. Aside from his obvious qualifications as a CPA and business person, his strong ethics and quiet "can do" attitude can always be counted on. Those qualifications, coupled with the fact that he has no further political aspirations (other than to serve the county in this capacity) are more than enough for my vote.
Please join me in retaining Ted Thran as Douglas County clerk-treasurer.
