Valley artist joins Tahoe gallery

Carson Valley artist Nancy Clarke has joined the Tahoe Art League's Showcase Gallery in the Ski Run Center in South Lake Tahoe, open -6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

Clarke's artwork includes oil paintings Lake Tahoe and the Eastern Sierra landscapes. She paints from the experience of backpacking and skiing the Sierra, and uses photos as a guide. She paints on site with the TAL plein-air group.
