A California man who was found with cocaine in his sock after being extradited to Nevada for an unrelated charge is back in court on a bench warrant. He is scheduled to appear before Gibbons this morning in Douglas County District Court.

A wind advisory goes into effect 9 a.m. today and will last until 5 p.m. Expect wind gusts of up to 55 mph, with winds of 20-30 mph. The wind is heralding a cold front that could bring snow to the valley floors between Reno and Susanville. It sounds like the chance of precipitation will be limited to north of Reno. We may see a little rain down here before 10 p.m.
