The Carson Valley Swim Center in Minden celebrates their 21st anniversary with an open house May 16. Events beginning at 9 a.m. include classes, water polo, and kayak, scuba and diving demonstrations. Free hot dogs from 11 a.m. until they're gone. Sodas and chips, 25 cents each. Free admission. Kayak demonstration, 9 a.m.
Water exercise classes, at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m.
Scuba and snorkeling demonstration, 10 a.m.
Dedication to Leonard Ludel, 11 a.m.
Water polo, 11:15 a.m.
DHS Diving Team demonstration and big splash contest, 12:30 p.m.
Safety drill demonstrations at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m.
