A motorcyclist was injured in an accident in the southbound lanes of Highway 395 near the entrance to Clear Creek Plaza.
Rescuers reported the motorcyclist suffered from back and side pain as a result of the accident.
The victim is being transported by Cal Star helicopter to Reno, according to emergency radio traffic.
The accident occurred at 7:25 p.m.
